Noé Martinez – Founder, The Yard Guys
Noé Martinez, a Salvadoran immigrant and embodiment of the American dream, brings over 15 years of expertise in commercial and residential landscaping to The Yard Guys. His career spans Northern and Southern Nevada, where he honed his skills in landscape construction at prominent Las Vegas casinos and maintained the properties of influential figures. In Northern Nevada, Noé has dedicated his talents to transforming residential yards into dream outdoor spaces. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and genuine care for every customer, Noé takes pride in his work.
Noé has built an exceptional team of family members and close friends who share his passion for excellence and dedication to customer satisfaction. This close-knit group works collaboratively to ensure every project is handled with care, creating a personalized experience and delivering top-quality results that set The Yard Guys apart.
Ivet Contreras – Co-Founder, The Yard Guys
Ivet Contreras, co-founder of The Yard Guys and wife of Noé Martinez, brings a dynamic blend of expertise and leadership to the team. A Journalism graduate from the University of Nevada and an Emmy-award-winning reporter, Ivet was recognized as one of the Influential Women of Sierra Nevada in 2022.
Currently running her award-winning multicultural public relations firm, Ivet applies her marketing and sales acumen to The Yard Guys, where she plays an essential role in driving the team’s success. As one of the few women in the construction industry, she brings a unique perspective and serves as the connecting thread of the team, keeping everything running smoothly while “hustling the guys” to deliver exceptional results. Ivet’s dedication, leadership, and trailblazing spirit set her apart as a cornerstone of The Yard Guys.
Christopher Contreras
Estimator and Project Manager
Christopher, a graduate in kinesiology and business from the University of Nevada (and our little brother), is an innovative and detail-oriented estimator and project manager. His strong academic background, combined with his passion for problem-solving and creativity, allows him to approach every project with exceptional insight and professionalism.
An avid CrossFitter, Chris applies the discipline and focus he’s honed through fitness to his work, ensuring that every project is handled with precision and care. He takes his clients’ investments personally, going above and beyond to ensure their needs are met. Whether accompanying them to select the perfect materials, designing detailed layouts to help visualize their dream yard, or patiently explaining each step of the process, Chris’s dedication to excellence is unmatched.

Alex is a talented foreman, quality supervisor, and our cousin! With over a decade of experience in landscaping in Reno, Alex is a dedicated professional who plays a vital role in bringing clients’ dream yards to life. As a foreman, he is known for his exceptional leadership skills, precision as a heavy machinery operator, and commitment to organization and punctuality.
